Nandi Coetzee At a young age Nandi developed insulin dependant diabetes, a condition many would consider unfit for the unforgiving world of the nomadic clans of Eure, this would not, however, stop her family from doing whatever it took to keep her safe. Nandi enjoys journaling the discoveries made during her journey, often seen as rather easy going, taking the time to appreciate the little things life has to give along the way.

Thandiswa Coetzee "Bibi" Devastated by her only daughter’s sudden death, Thandiswa took her two granddaughters along with the girl's best friend, leaving their home, never to return. Not much is known about Nandi’s grandmother or what drove her to make the decisions she did, in her later years, with her health was deteriorating, she was especially vulnerable to paranoid outbursts. Despite this, Nandi never left her grandmother’s side.

Ilo Ilo does not like to talk about herself or where she comes from, but humans seem to be something of a fascination to her.
